The group’s 1961 album, ‘B.M.O.C. (Best Music On/Off-Campus),’ became a major hit and reached the #4 spot in the US. Also, one of the singles from this album, ‘The Green Leaves Of Summer,’ featured in the top 10 list in Norway and reached the #65 spot in the US Billboard Hot 100.
In the year 1962, The Brothers Four recorded the title song for the Hollywood film, ‘Five Weeks in a Balloon.’ The Brothers worked along with Jerry Dennon, the group members started a radio station in Seaside, Oregon (KSWB) in 1968. The station sold to another group in the year 1972 and more than 60 years of its formation, the group continues to be active as of today.
