Brian Molko (brought into the world 10 December 1972) is a British performer and musician who is lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Placebo. He is known specifically for his unmistakable nasal, sharp vocals, hermaphroditic appearance, and remarkable guitar style and tuning.
Molko’s Early life
Molko was conceived in Brussels, Belgium to an American dad of French-Italian legacy and a British mother of Scottish Catholic plummet. He has a more established sibling named Stuart. Molko’s family moved every now and again during his youth; the family lived in Dundee, Liberia, Lebanon and Belgium, where they in the end settled in the town of Longeau close to the fringe with Luxembourg, where Molko went to the American International School of Luxembourg (AISL).
In spite of the fact that Molko was raised in a severe family that opposed masterful articulation (his dad needed him to turn into a financier), he revolted by expecting a hermaphroditic picture, wearing nail clean, lipstick, and eyeliner, and tuning in to punk music.
He at first went to the European School of Luxembourg (ESL) yet left because of inordinate harassing. He went to the American International School of Luxembourg (AISL) before considering show at Goldsmiths College in London.
A Profession in the Music Field
In spite of the fact that Molko and Placebo fellow benefactor Stefan Olsdal had both gone to the American International School of Luxembourg (AISL), they had not been companions. When Molko was living in London, he ran into Olsdal at South Kensington tube station and welcomed him to one of his gigs which he played with Steve Hewitt in a gathering called Ashtray Heart.
Alongside Hewitt and Olsdal, Molko had a job in the 1998 film Velvet Goldmine, for which Placebo played out the T. Rex melody “Twentieth Century Boy”. He played Malcolm, a vocalist of the anecdotal glitz musical crew, “The Flaming Creatures”, who looked like the early Alice Cooper band.
During Placebo’s live exhibitions Molko has played various instruments, including guitar, low pitch guitar, consoles, harmonica and saxophone.
