 Kirsten Vangsness is an American Actress and writer. She portrayed the role of Penelope Garcia as FBI Technical Analyst on CBS series Criminal Minds And its spin-off, Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior. She has co-written television series including Nelson’s Sparrow and A Beautiful Disaster.

Kirsten Vangsness was born on July 7, 1972, in Pasadena, Los Angeles, California, the U.S.A. As of 2019, her age is 46 years old. Her Full name is Kirsten Simone Vangsness. She is the daughter of Errol Leroy Vangsness (father) and Barbara Mary (mother). She belongs to American nationality and holds white ethnical background. Kirsten is the follower of the Baptist religion. There is no information about her parent’s occupation and about her childhood days. No information about her siblings as well.

One year later, she got her biggest break play Penelope Garcia in Criminal Minds in 2005. She has been on the show since and appearing in over 250 episodes. She has also starred in the spin-off, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, among other shows which made her very popular.

Furthermore,  She is also a writer, has published her work in the Los Angeles Times. She has written three episodes of Criminal Minds.
