Sharon Horgan is an Irish actress, writer, director, producer, and English born actress. She is popular for comedy television shows Pulling and Catastrophe. Furthermore, she was nominated for two British Academy Television Awards and also wins two British Comedy Awards.

Sharon Horgan was born on 13th July 1970, in Hackney, London, England. Her father John a New Zealander and mother Ursula an Irish. Sharon moved to Ireland with her parents at the age of four.

She grew up along with her five siblings. Her brothers are Shane Horgan and Mark Horgan and sisters are Maria Horgan and Lorraine Horgan. According to her, she had a wonderful childhood as per her recent interview.

She enrolled in Sacred Heart convent school in Drogheda but didn’t enjoy her days in school. In the meanwhile, she already developed her interest in acting at the age of 20. She graduated with a degree in American studies and English in 2000 from Brunel University in west London.

Career

During her professional career, she has already shown up as an on-screen character, maker and writer. As a young and struggling actress, she worked for her pocket money as a waitress and also worked in a call center. In 2002, her first TV appearance on the show called “The State We’re In”.

She made her widescreen appearance big with Imagine Me and You by playing the role of “Beth“. Before showing up, she also had the appearance in a cameo role for BBC’s Extras. Furthermore, we see her, showing up in various motion pictures and TV arrangements playing distinctive characters.

Although, she started creating an HBO epic comic drama arrangement called Divorce in 2015, featuring Sarah Jessica Parker. All her talent, dedication and hard work have made her career wonderful. She has been able to wow her audience and viewers with her epic performance in any series.

However, her husband is the co-owns a property development company called The Warbird Company. He is also a former advertising executive and an entrepreneur. The couple welcomed two daughters named Sadhbh and Amer.
