Uzo Aduba is an American actress who is famous for her role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren on the Netflix original series Orange Is the New Black, for which she won an Emmy Award.

Uzo Aduba was born on February 10, 1981, as Uzoamaka Nwanneka in Boston, Massachusetts, the U.S. Her birth sign Aquarius. She was born to Nigerian parents, of Igbo origin, from Achi in Enugu State. Further, she has a younger brother named Obi as her sibling.

Aduba holds an American nationality and belongs to the Afro-American ethnicity. She grew in Medfield, Massachusetts. She attended Medfield high school and graduated from high school in 1999.

After graduating from Medfield High School, she got a scholarship to the college of Fine Arts at Boston University. Then she moved to Boston University, where she studied classical voice and competed in track and field.

Later in 2006, Aduba played the role of Amphiarus at the New York Theater Workshop. The act performed again at La Jolla Playhouse in the year 2008. Uzo made her Broadway debut portraying a role as Toby in Helen Edmundson’s adoption of Coram Boy at the Imperial Theater.
